We are celebrating our 45th Class Reunion! We will have a float in the July 4th Parade (contact Betty Ludden to help with it) and an information table at registration where you can find out who is in town, where to find them, etc. Our class is responsible for the Grinnell Garden Tour, so try to fit that into your weekend schedule. Our 45th Class Reunion buffet will be at the Grinnell House (5th and Park) at 5 p.m. on Saturday July 5. The cost is $25 for singles or $40 for couples. A class photo will be taken at 7 p.m. and following that we can proceed to the Elks Club for the street dance or choose to stay at Grinnell House and visit in the air conditioning. Lots of classmates already have their reservations in - Please join us! The Class of 1964 will not have a class reunion in 2008 but will have a float in the 4th of July parade to celebrate the All School Reunion. Class members are also organizing a scavenger hunt to coincide with the All School Reunion. Class members will plan to have a 45th class reunion in 2009 if there is enough interest. Saturday, July 5, 2008 We have some great entertainment lined up (thank you Jon Baumgartner) and are anxious to see everyone again! Our class "happening" will be Saturday afternoon/evening because we want everyone to have the opportunity to spend time with family and friends -- and enjoy the All Class Reunion over the holiday weekend too. If you know classmates not listed on the mailing list, please let them know they can add themselves to the mailing list by emailing ghs72@iowatelecom.net. The Forever Stamp may be a great concept in the USPS eyes, but postage for this note is so much more economical! |
